Resource Synchronization

sc.png

About adding new content for your Live app, you can use Resource Sync feature created by our developers.
Once your application is Ready For Sale in the App Store you will have possibility to synchronize resources (images, sounds, html files, etc.) with app without releasing a new app version. To choose what files do you want to be sync go to your app’s Dashboard -> Edit Pages -> Resource Manager.

The check-box on the far right of the appeared table represents the sync feature state of the file (pages).

When user taps REFRESH button in the top left corner a panel appears. Selecting Sync will update files from the server.

Note: sync option is enabled by default for app.xml.

Note: just files set as SYNC in Resource Manager will be updated.

If sync feature is not needed you can disable it in the Submission Process.

Thank you

12Can  you add or remove entire pages with sync?  Or will sync only work if the page is already in the app?

From my experience I have been able to add new pages with sync. What you would have to do is:

1. Make sure sync is enabled for your entire app (which is what you do when you build/submit your app).

2. Add your new pages.

3. In the In-App Resources Manager, find that page(s) and check mark Sync on the right hand side. (You will also want to check mark Sync for any new images added to that page as well.)

4. Then click "Close" and it should automatically save your check marked Synced pages.

This is how it's worked in the past but it's been awhile since I have done this. So if it doesn't work of course you'll need to request a new build but I'm pretty positive it will.
