AppShare Page Type - a page type used for sharing the application via email or Facebook in order to gain more views/downloads of the application from the App Stores.

In order to add an App Share page type you need to access your Application's Dashboard and go to "Edit pages" section. Click on Add New Page button, the "+" button below the list of the currently available pages.

Once added you may go to Edit the page.

1 - Enter the Application's Name

2 - Select the Application's icon with a max resolution of 100x100pixel

3 – Enter the Application's Description , that will be visible once shared either on Facebook or in the email

4 – Insert the URL links of the Application from the App Store: Google Play Store for Android App/ Apple App Store for iOS App/ Amazon App Store for Kindle App

5 - Note: You need to have the sync enabled for the AppShare page in the resource manager to be able to add the corresponding links once the application will be live on either of the App Stores.

The result of using this Page Type looks in this way :

This document is out of date.  The form does not look like this anymore.  The facebook submission is more involved than getting an app id.

In time tutorials will be updated but at the moment we are focusing on video tutorials. It will be tough to update each and every tutorial if a services change their flow on how to get say an APP ID number or anything else. Tutorials are definitely here to help, but if you do run into a problem and the tutorial is out of date, then you can easily try Googling your solution. Many of the things I learned regarding these types of things I learned from doing research on Google and watching YouTube videos. But again, in time we will try to update the tutorials that need updated.
