Adding Multiple Pages to an app

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but I have a 40+ page book that I want to publish as an app. Do I just load all 40+ pages onto one HTML page template, or do I break it up into multiple pages?

If your 40 page book is in PDF form then you can use one of the PDF templates to upload the book. If it's not, then I highly advise you to try to make it somehow into PDF form, but also try to add some extra additional features within the app so Google and iTunes don't want apps that are JUST a book.

Thanks very much for the response. Sorry, I'm such a noob at apps and the iTunes world.

What additional features do you mean? Such as links to external sites, embedded video, etc.?

Are you saying iTunes and Google do NOT want books in their stores? I was thinking of putting it in the Apple Newsstand. Would that work?

Hey no problem. I'm actually in the process of working on video tutorials for the entire service from top to bottom so this should help people a lot regarding the platform.

What I mean by adding additional features in your app is maybe you can add a news feed for the topic that your app is about, perhaps some info pages maybe explaining the niche you're in. You could link to external sites as resources also. I have always advised to not make a PDF book the whole app. Google and Apple have separate stores that people can submit just their eBooks to and this is why they prefer to not have an app that's JUST an eBook.

I believe you would be fine with Apple Newsstand though. Like App Magazines, if you combine different eBooks within an app such as Newsstand, then I believe that will pass with Apple as well. The great thing about Apple though, is that they will just deny your app if it doesn't pass their requirements. Then you can just make adjustments and resubmit til you get it right for them.

This is great. Thanks you two for the exchange.  This helped me a lot.  I want to make an app for a book on the Kindle and this helps me a lot.
